Sarah grew up locally on a sheep & beef farm, attending school in Gore before studying in Dunedin and later Christchurch. Sarah cut her teeth at a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Central Christchurch. It was a busy and rewarding time that saw her working closing with a wide range of businesses flourishing due to the post-earth quake construction boom.
Returning to Gore in 2016 to work alongside father Mike Millard, and sister Emma Hewitson at O’Connor Richmond Ltd. Sarah became a Director of the firm in late 2018 and her client base is a mix of farming, agri-support and commercial business.
Sarah and her husband Andrew have two young boys who keep them very busy. On the weekends you can find them jet-boating, skiing or mucking about on their life-style block.
